Review dictation history

Open your history

• From the menu bar, choose History under Quick actions.
• Or open Settings > General, then click Open in the History section.

What gets saved

Each session is stored in your History folder as:

• transcript.txt with the final text
• audio.* when audio is available (file import or live dictation)

Keep or prune recordings

Use Keep last X recordings in Settings > General to control retention. Set it to 0 to keep everything.

Reveal new items automatically

Enable Reveal history item on completion to show each transcript in Finder as it finishes.
